By accessing this website or booking an appointment with The Rich Brow, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.
About Us
The Rich Brow is the trading name of the business operating under ABN 38 833 614 310, located at Shop 184/569 George Street, Sydney CBD, New South Wales, Australia. We provide professional beauty services including eyelash extensions, eyebrow services, nail services, waxing, facial treatments, cosmetic beauty treatments, beauty products, and other beauty services offered from time to time.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing our website, making an enquiry, booking an appointment, purchasing products or gift cards, or attending an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or services.
Website Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the information published on our website is accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that information is error-free, prices will remain unchanged, products or services will always be available, treatment information is suitable for every individual, or the website will operate uninterrupted or without technical issues. Information may be amended without notice.
Online Bookings
Appointments may be made through Fresha, telephone, email, or walk-in (subject to availability). Appointments are only confirmed once accepted by The Rich Brow. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.
Pricing
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices may change without prior notice. The applicable price is the price confirmed at the time of booking. Where a price discrepancy arises, we will contact you before proceeding.
Deposits
Certain services may require a booking deposit. Deposits secure your appointment and are credited towards the service price. Deposits may be forfeited in accordance with our Cancellation Policy set out in clause 7.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Unless otherwise advised, cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations or failure to attend may result in the forfeiture of any deposit or the application of a cancellation fee. Repeat no-shows may result in future bookings being declined. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in exceptional circumstances and will provide reasonable notice where possible.
Late Arrival
If you arrive late, treatment time may be reduced, your appointment may need to be modified, or your appointment may be cancelled where insufficient time remains. The full appointment fee may still apply. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to allow time for consultation.
Medical Disclosure
Customers must disclose all relevant medical information before treatment, including allergies, pregnancy, eye conditions, skin conditions, medications, recent cosmetic procedures, infections, and any other medical conditions that may affect treatment suitability or outcomes. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment outcomes and may limit our liability to the extent permitted by law. The Rich Brow reserves the right to decline treatment where, in our professional judgement, proceeding would not be in the customer's best interest.
Patch Testing
Where recommended or required, patch testing must be completed before treatment. The Rich Brow reserves the right to refuse treatment where patch testing is declined or where an adverse reaction is observed. Patch testing requirements will be communicated at the time of booking.
Treatment Results
Beauty treatments produce different outcomes for different individuals. The Rich Brow does not guarantee identical results, a particular appearance, treatment longevity, or suitability for every customer. Results depend on factors including natural lashes, skin type, lifestyle, maintenance and compliance with aftercare instructions. Our team will provide an honest assessment of expected outcomes during your consultation.
Aftercare
Customers agree to follow all aftercare advice provided by our team. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect treatment longevity, treatment quality, eligibility for complimentary touch-ups (where offered), and future treatment outcomes. Aftercare instructions are provided verbally and are available on our website.
Minors
Customers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must provide written consent before treatment commences. Certain treatments may not be available to minors. The Rich Brow reserves the right to decline treatment to a minor where appropriate consent has not been provided.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). You are entitled to a remedy for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have services remedied if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL.
Refunds & Remedies
Due to the nature of professional beauty services, completed services are generally not refundable where the service has been delivered as described and to an acceptable standard. Where a service fails to meet the consumer guarantees under the ACL, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a re-do, partial refund, or full refund depending on the nature and severity of the failure. Refund requests must be raised with us promptly and in accordance with our Complaints process in clause 16.
Complaints
We take all feedback seriously and are committed to resolving concerns promptly and fairly. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may contact NSW Fair Trading or the relevant consumer protection authority.
Gift Cards
Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash and are not replaceable if lost or stolen unless required by law. Gift cards are subject to any expiry period permitted by applicable law. Gift cards may not be used in conjunction with other promotions unless expressly stated.
Promotions
Special offers and promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated, are available while stocks or appointments last, and may be withdrawn or amended without notice. Promotional pricing applies only to the services specified and for the period stated.
Customer Conduct
The Rich Brow is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all customers and staff. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services where a customer behaves aggressively or abusively, threatens staff or other customers, damages property, is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or creates an unsafe environment. In such circumstances, the full appointment fee may still apply.
Photography & Social Media
The Rich Brow may take before and after photographs or videos for quality assurance, training, and marketing purposes. By attending an appointment, you consent to photography unless you advise us otherwise in writing before your appointment. Where photographs are used for marketing, we will not identify you by name without your separate consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Where customers voluntarily submit reviews, testimonials, photographs, before and after images, or social media tags referencing The Rich Brow, they grant The Rich Brow a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, publish and use that content for marketing purposes unless the customer requests otherwise in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, The Rich Brow shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of income or profits, business interruption, disappointment with cosmetic preferences, allergic reactions where relevant medical information was not disclosed, outcomes resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property appearing on this website is owned by or licensed to The Rich Brow. This includes the The Rich Brow name, logos, branding, website design, photographs, videos, graphics, artwork, treatment descriptions, educational content, blog articles, promotional material, and all written material. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published, transmitted, uploaded, sold, licensed or otherwise used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Trade Marks
The Rich Brow name, associated logos, branding, taglines and visual identity are proprietary assets of The Rich Brow. Nothing contained within this website grants any licence or right to use those assets without prior written permission.
Third-Party Websites
Our website may include links to third-party websites, including our booking platform Fresha, for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, security, availability, or privacy practices of any third-party website. Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.
Privacy
The Rich Brow collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We collect personal information including your name, contact details, health information relevant to treatment, and payment information. This information is used to provide and improve our services, process bookings and payments, send appointment reminders and marketing communications (where you have consented), and comply with legal obligations. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
Changes to These Terms
The Rich Brow may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication on this website. Continued use of the website or our services after the publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
